Changzhou Taihu Lake Bay Prized Worker Rest and Relaxation Retreat, located in the provincial tourist resort, is a comprehensive rest and relaxation retreat with activities such as ecological tourism, leisure vacation, health care, sports and fitness, fruit picking, and fresh food tasting. Under the guidance of Changzhou Federation of Trade Unions, it set up Chanzhou Taihu Lake Bay Worker Treatment and Recuperation Co., Ltd., providing rest and relaxation services for all prized workers and nonlocal business.
The retreat lays beside Taihu Lake and has a high-quality environment. The lake shore stretches for 7.8 km, and has 7 bays, 8 reservoirs, 11 mountains, and 19 hills. The air reaches the national primary standard, making it a rare "oxygen bar" .
The retreat is fully equipped with supporting facilities and has a variety of star rated hotels. In total, facilities include over 2,000 beds, over 1,500 dining seats, and over 10 multi-function conference rooms. These multi-function conference rooms can be used for health lectures, psychological counseling, cultural exchanges, and seminars. Workers can take a walk by the lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery, or have fun in various locations within the base, including the library, gym, basketball court, table tennis room, chess room, etc.
